Wednesday, April 1, 2009 through Saturday April 4, 2009:
Wednesday night we went back to
Turquoise Bay for dinner and Karaoke again. Ken & Kelly and Charlie & Quay were there along with Charlie &
Quay's friends from Aransas Pass - Lonnie & Rebekah (sp?) Fredrick. It was great fun with new friends.
Last night (Friday) we went with Gary & Nicole to another restaurant called The View. Guess who we ran into?
Yep, Ken & Kelly, Charlie & Quay, & Lonnie & Rebekah were there. Dinner was good - coconut shrimp.
We
went shopping yesterday and stocked up on most things we will need for the next week. We are told that Easter is the
biggest holiday here and the islands will be full of people from the mainland who come here for the whole week to party.
We are told that they will literally buy everything on the shelves in the stores (food & drink). It should be interesting.
I don't plan to do any night driving this week.
We will pick up James & Julie at the airport tomorrow
and they will be here until Saturday, April 11, 2009. Julie wants to do one of the canopy rides (zip lining).
That should be interesting.
