The Trip Home

Parise and her husband provide excellent service at Burdines Marina in Marathon.

Pat loved this sign and wants one in the back yard at home.  Maybe, some day.

A different angle.  Like I said, Pat loved it!

While we were underway, a few dolphin came to play.

Sunset on the way home!

Sunrise on the way home!

homewardbound/DSC01670.JPG

You guessed it!  Another sunrise shot!

homewardbound/DSC01671.JPG

Administering CPR to Sun Beam in an attempt to save her!

homewardbound/DSC01672.JPG

No hope!  We had to put her out of her misery!

homewardbound/DSC01678.JPG

Good Bye Sun Beam.  You were a great dinghy.

homewardbound/DSC01682.JPG

Another sunset!  FYI you can differentiate between sunrises and sunsets.  Sunsets are off the bow and sunrises are off the stern.  Strange how that happens when you are headed west.

homewardbound/DSC01683.JPG

You have to admit, it is a good sunrise shot!

homewardbound/DSC01687.JPG

Big fish!  Only one of the trip.

homewardbound/DSC01689.JPG

Digital cameras are neat but they take too long between shots.  Pat almost missed this shot.  She was also distracted by the shark following our boat hoping to get dinner the easy way.

Arrival to the Kemah Channel.

Arriving back at Lakewood Yacht Club.  Left here on April 3, 2008, and arrived back May 31, 20008. Our longest cruise so far.
